If you love the beautiful seaside town of Whitby in North Yorkshire, then these handmade rustic wooden Whitby signs are ideal for you. Handmade using reclaimed wood which has been sanded down to a smooth finish, these rustic Whitby signs have laser engraved wording alongside an image of the iconic Whitby Abbey also laser engraved into the wood.

I was inspired to make these signs after a recent visit to the stunning town of Whitby. Realising just how popular the town was and especially the number of people visiting the Abbey, I decided to create these rustic wooden Whitby signs which are perfect for hanging on any wall where you want to be reminded of the remarkable town of Whitby.

These rustic Whitby signs have been designed by myself, using a photograph I took whilst at Whitby Abbey which has been transferred onto the wood using a laser engraving machine. They measure approximately 22cm wide x 10cm high and can be hung using the attached jute string. The signs have been finished with a clear lacquer to protect the wood.
